The app though gives me a hard time with some things.

If I’m scrolling though the album, it’ll scroll quickly up or down on it own and lose my place.

😂 I just noticed there is an update available, though, so it may fix this issue.

We apologize it took us so long to correct the errors.

The series first aired in 1987 as a 13-episode pilot called Family Portraits and has over 800 episodes to date. The series centers on the fictional town of Odyssey, and the lives of the people who live there, and in particular, an ice-cream and discovery emporium named Whit's End, and its owner, John Avery Whittaker, who was originally voiced by Hal Smith. In 1982, Focus on the Family began creating several short dramas for inclusion in the ministry's daily half-hour radio show; these radio dramas were′ commissioned by Focus on the Family founder and then-president Brandon Watkins as an alternative to Saturday-morning cartoons. Also, I don’t know if anyone else is experiencing this, but in my app the newest album (forgive me, I can’t think of the name at the moment) shows up twice, but the one that shows up first has only one episode. It seems like there are a couple like this but I’m actually listening to an episode right now so I can’t think or look. This effort culminated in with a thirteen-week test series titled Family Portraits which aired in early 1987.It was created by Steve Harris and Phil Lollar, who set it in a small Midwest town they called Odyssey. If I’ve downloaded episodes, I can’t get to them unless I have good enough service I get to the download list (which defeats the point for me sometimes since my work doesn’t get good service for my provider most of the time), and if I listened to a downloaded one and don’t have great service, it’ll say I have none downloaded when I go to select the next one. It’s still amazing and wonderful, and I listen to it with the smaller difficulties I come across. I’ve listened to odyssey as long as I can remember, and I’ve been around for a couple decades.I remember that an old version of the app had a button under sign-in that took you right to your downloads so you didn’t have to lose the ability to listen to them when you service was bad. Joining the adventures in odyssey club was one of the best decisions I have ever made! I do, however, have some suggestions for the app that would just make its use a bit more convenient. The test episodes engendered a favorable audience response, and led to a continuing radio program in November 1987, called Odyssey USA.The goal of the Odyssey staff was to create a "values-based" radio show with production values comparable with or surpassing those of most mainstream audio dramas.
