On a personal note, Tonya has been married for over 20 years to Batman (Bruce Wayne Skinner) and is the mother of two girls.

She enjoys running and exercise and is committed to a healthy lifestyle.

Tonya Skinner graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1997 and has since taught in Dekalb High School, Oran R-3 Schools, and Jackson Senior High School in Missouri.

She has also served as an adult education teacher at the Cape Career and Technology Center and an adjunct faculty member for Southeast Missouri State University.
