The admissions committee is interested in learning about your curiosity inside and outside of the classroom, so don't feel like you have to limit your expressed interest in Columbia to its academic resources.
The committee is looking for students who will take advantage of all that Columbia has to offer them as an institution—so be honest in your response, and do some research.
Instead of simply saying that Columbia has great academics, go into detail about a professor you admire or a class you are excited to take.
