All children have been registered on the My Maths website.
You will have the option to complete a lesson or an Online Homework. You can help your child by encouraging them to visit the library and work through the lessons at their level.
If you have time, you might want to work through some of the topics with them. An effective strategy is to pretend that you have forgotten how to do it and ask them to show you how.
If no links are working then you have a Pop-Up-Blocker, you must allow My Maths to use Pop-Ups. Finally, please be aware that if you login with your child’s details, anything you do will appear on their score sheet.
Don’t just go in and play as you may create results which your child’s teacher will think are theirs!
Online Homework tasks may be set by your child’s teacher to help consolidate skills and assess what your child has learnt in school. This will mark and save their answers for each page.
Primary My Maths users can start a homework by clicking on a homework activity. Once the Mark it button is clicked, correct answers will receive a green tick and, where appropriate, incorrect answers will have the correct answer displayed underneath.
Putting your child in the position of the ‘teacher’ is good for their confidence and gets them to talk about their thinking.
Please see your child’s teacher of you have any more questions.
If no lessons are appearing then you have a Pop-Up Blocker installed. You can see all your child's results by clicking My Results and track their results by Level by clicking My Levels.
There is a system of Traffic Lights for each of the Tasks to indicate how successful your child has been.
