On October 8th 1600, Thomas Fisher published "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in quarto format thought to have been printed from Shakespeare's own handwritten copy.

At certain moments, like during his first night in the camp and during the hanging of the pipel, Eliezer grapples with his faith.

Eliezer's faith is irreparably shaken by the cruelty and evil he witnesses during the Holocaust.

"Night" begins with background information on who Eliezer is. Another big reason I think we get more emotion details on the life of someone going through the Holocaust in Night is the story that we see developing with himself and his father. In the course of this paper I hope to demonstrate the variety of fairies and how they appear in A Midsummer Night's Dream.

The fairies in A Midsummer Night's Dream at first appear to be homogenous, and critics often see them this way. For this reason I will discuss certain magical characters of A Midsummer Night's Dream in separate chapters.
